Man Dies In San Francisco Shooting That Injured Another

A double shooting left one person dead and wounded another on Friday just one day after another shooting in the area.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Police in San Francisco were investigating a double shooting that killed one person and injured another on Friday.

Around 1:21 p.m., officers were dispatched to 3rd street and Palou Avenue in the Bayview neighborhood, where they found a 21-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he died of his injuries, the San Francisco Police Department said in a statement.

Another victim, a 29-year-old man, was treated at a local hospital but his injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

The incident came just one day after another shooting unfolded near Ingalls Street and Armstrong Avenue. The man was taken to a hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made in either incident.
