Metro Electric, now in its 35th year of operations, was founded in 1981 to provide commercial electrical contracting services. It became one of the first electrical contractors to add turnkey data and communications services, growing that department to one of the strongest in the industry.
Metro Electric also helped to pioneer the installation of wireless services in the Bay Area, working with many wireless carriers. In recent years, Metro Electric has grown its DAS department, creating a team of experts that design and install distributed antenna systems within commercial campuses, high rise buildings and sports and entertainment venues.
