PG&E Must Rebuild Infrastructure Destroyed By Soberanes Fire
Crews will begin replacing equipment destroyed by flames.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA ā Repairs on damaged power lines and poles as a result of the Soberanes Fire will begin this morning in Carmel-By-The-Sea, according to PG&E officials.
Crews will work to replace distribution poles, transformers and wires at 10 a.m. in the area of Palo Colorado Road, as well as work on restoration efforts in safe areas.
Six outages have been reported since the fire broke out on July 22, PG&E officials said.

The fire continues to threaten equipment and facilities in the area. PG&E officials said crews will continue to work to return service and rebuild infrastructure as safely and as quickly as possible.
