
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — San Francisco Police have increased patrols around mosques following mass shootings in Christchurch, New Zealand that left at least 49 people dead and dozens more wounded.
Police are asking community members to report anything suspicious. No specific threats have been reported here.
One man has been arrested in New Zealand, a self-avowed white supremacist. He published a 74-page manifesto online, which has since been removed. Other people have been detained, but their number and possible involvement is unclear at the moment.
