Striking Hotel Workers Reach Contract Agreement
Employees have voted to ratify the contract.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA ā Marriott hotel workers in San Francisco will return to work on Wednesday following a strike that lasted more than two months, according to the workers' union Unite Here Local 2.
Union officials announced this evening that an overwhelming 99.6 percent of union workers ratified a new contract for the nearly 2,500 Marriott workers who went on strike in early October to demand better pay, more job security and lighter workloads.
Union workers main demand was a wage high enough so they don't have to work two or three jobs to make ends meet.
