Wind Warning Issued By National Weather Service

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — The National Weather Service is predicting ferocious winds this afternoon and evening.

Wind gusts are expected to be in excess of 40 mph, prompting an Airport Weather Warning for San Francisco International Airport. The warning will be in effect from 1 to 8 p.m. Plan for possible flight delays if you have a trip scheduled or if you're planning to pick up someone.

For the rest of us, it's probably not a good evening for al fresco dining!
