Center for Spiritual Living San José Launches Spring Diaper Drive to Support Local Families

SAN JOSÉ, CA — The Center for Spiritual Living San José is inviting the community to participate in its Spring Donation Project: Diaper Drive, supporting families served by Santa Maria Urban Ministry, a trusted neighborhood resource that has been helping San José residents for more than 40 years.

The drive focuses on collecting sizes 5, 6, and 7 diapers, which are among the most requested and least donated sizes for families with toddlers and young children. All donations will go directly to Santa Maria Urban Ministry to help meet the ongoing needs of local families facing financial hardship.

Donation Drop‑Off Dates

Community members are encouraged to drop off diapers on the following Sundays:

• March 22
• March 29
• April 5
• April 12

Drop‑off hours: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM Location: Center for Spiritual Living San José 1195 Clark Street, San José

This is a drop‑off only donation event, making it easy for individuals and families to participate before or after their Sunday activities.

Why Diapers Matter

Diapers are a basic necessity, yet they are not covered by government assistance programs such as WIC or SNAP. For many families, the cost of diapers can create significant financial strain. By donating, community members can make a direct and meaningful impact on the health, comfort, and dignity of local children.
