Councilmember Michael Mulcahy to Lead Ceremonies at Peace Walk

SAN JOSÉ, CA — The Center for Spiritual Living San José has announced that District 6 Councilmember Michael Mulcahy and Rev. Dr. Nadene Rogers, Spiritual Leader of CSLSJ, will both participate in the opening ceremonies of the 2nd Annual CSLSJ Peace Walk on Sunday, March 29, 2026. The Councilman’s presence reflects the growing momentum behind this community-driven event, which celebrates unity, kindness, and neighborhood connection. The Peace Walk is a cornerstone of the Center’s Month of Peace — a series of events designed to bring residents together through creativity, music, and shared intention. With more than 300 members and a long history of community engagement, CSLSJ continues to serve as a hub for positive action in Willow Glen.

Event Details - 2nd Annual Peace Walk Sunday, March 29, 2026 1:00–2:30 PM Opening Ceremony at 1:00 PM with Councilmember Mulcahy & Rev. Nadene Rogers Frank Bramhall Park 1320 Willow Street, San José. Participants will walk a 2‑mile route through Willow Glen — from Bramhall Park along Willow Street to Lincoln Avenue, to Minnesota Avenue, and back — concluding with a closing ceremony in the park. All ages are welcome, and attendees are encouraged to bring homemade peace signs.

Community Participation & Sponsorship

Local businesses and organizations are invited to participate through sponsorships, in‑kind support, or by walking with their teams. Sponsorships help provide water, snack bags, and event materials for participants and are acknowledged during the event and throughout the Month of Peace.
