CSL San José Hosts “The Lightworkers Way Forward in Troubling Times” Workshop with Rev. Christie Hardwick

SAN JOSE, CA — As communities across the Bay Area continue to navigate uncertainty, rapid change, and deep cultural division, the Center for Spiritual Living San José is offering a timely and transformative opportunity for reflection and growth. On Sunday, August 9, CSL San José will host “The Lightworkers Way Forward in Troubling Times,” an interactive workshop led by author, minister, and leadership coach Rev. Christie Hardwick.

The workshop will take place in person from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 1195 Clark Street, San Jose, and is open to anyone seeking clarity, resilience, and a spiritually grounded path forward.

Hardwick will draw from her newly released book, The Absence of Light: Radical Accountability and a Way Forward, which explores how individuals can respond to challenging times with courage, compassion, and conscious responsibility. Rather than approaching accountability through blame or shame, Hardwick’s work emphasizes empowerment, connection, and the willingness to examine one’s own role in the world we hope to heal.

Participants can expect a blend of readings, guided exploration, and meaningful conversation. The workshop is designed to help attendees move through emotional reaction into discernment, contemplation, and inspired action — a process Hardwick describes as essential for anyone committed to spiritual leadership or conscious community building.

Hardwick’s background spans decades of executive leadership, spiritual coaching, and writing. Ordained in 2015, she has dedicated her ministry to exploring the intersection of authenticity, spirituality, and social responsibility.
