• EPA Awards Record $82 Million to Improve Water Quality and Restore Habitat Across San Francisco Bay Watersheds (epa.gov) — San Pablo is set to receive $1.26 million in federal EPA funding to build and monitor green stormwater systems that capture and treat runoff in local neighborhoods. The grant is part of a record $82 million investment across Bay Area communities to improve water quality, restore wetlands, and reduce pollution entering San Francisco Bay. 
• California dumpster company dumps trash over unpaid bill (themarysue.com) — A billing dispute with a private dumpster company left a San Pablo property covered in debris for days, drawing in police and city code enforcement. While officers ruled no crime occurred, the city cited the property owner, and neighbors were stuck living beside the mess as conflicting stories emerged over whether the $700 bill was ever paid.
