Coroner's Office IDs Men Found Shot Dead in Backyards Near Mill Valley
The Marin County Sheriff's Office believes the deaths are related to each other.

The Marin County coroner’s office has identified the men who were found dead in two backyards in the Mill Valley area this week as Theodore Charles Rodden, 61, of Mill Valley and Andreas Kreiden, 41, of Calistoga.
Rodden was found Wednesday evening in the backyard of a shared lot for 154 and 152 Carlotta Circle, and Kreiden was found Thursday morning in the backyard of 152 Carlotta Circle, coroner’s office Lt. Keith Boyd said.

The Marin County Sheriff’s Office believes the deaths are related to each other and there is no ongoing threat or danger to the community, Boyd said.

The sheriff’s office has been investigating what it believes was a murder-suicide. A rifle was found beside Kreiden’s body, the sheriff’s office said.
