Dinner on the Pacific Plate -- Support Point Reyes!

Support Point Reyes by attending or volunteering for Dinner on the Pacific Plate, our fabulous fundraising event on September 20th, 2014!

Support the Point Reyes National Seashore by joining us on September 20th for Dinner on the Pacific Plate, our fabulous annual fundraising event!

Dinner on the Pacific Plate is a fun-filled day in the park that includes naturalist-led activities, music and a gourmet dinner under the shelter of a tent at the Bear Valley Grove. As part of this magical event, we also run an online auction of unique experiences in the park and beyond from September 10 - 24.

This year, our event celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act. As the only national park with federally designated wilderness in the Bay Area, we will highlight its “wild side” this year through our pre-dinner hikes, program and online auction. Support our work and join in the festivities by sponsoring the event, purchasing tickets, donating to the auction, or bidding on exciting auction items and experiences from September 10 through September 24.

Event Schedule - September 20, 2014
2:00 - 4:30 pm Pre-dinner activities (optional)
4:30 - 6:00 pm Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres with local chefs and music by Alison Harris and Katie Phillips of The Bootleg Honeys

Funds from Dinner on the Pacific Plate support habitat and trail restoration, wildlife and endangered species protection, volunteer programs, environmental education programs for people of all ages, and scholarships that allow over 1,000 underserved children to experience Point Reyes. As federal funding for national parks continues to decrease, public support is more important than ever to ensure that Point Reyes National Seashore is protected, preserved, and enjoyed now and far into the future.
