Fall 6th-8th Grade Effective Communication Series in Tiburon Open for Registration

In a low-stress, supportive, and interactive environment, The Protocol Academy offers the Effective Communication series. With their peers, students learn valuable life skills in organization and comfort when speaking in small groups as well as in front of a crowd. Covered topics in this program include: The Art of Small Talk; Verbal & Non-Verbal Communication & Cues; The Importance of Written Communication; Utilizing Technology in Communication; Critical Thinking; and Feedback and Negotiation Skills. In addition, the program concentrates on properly constructing and then presenting various public speaking formats in front of the class. Throughout the program, key nuances of written, verbal and digital communication are emphasized. Students learn and practice via interactive activities including games, role-play, small groups, team building, improvisation, self-observation and solo speaking. Presented by Daily Protocol.
