• San Anselmo to renovate Memorial Park courts (marinij.com) — San Anselmo is pushing ahead with designs to rebuild Memorial Park's worn-out tennis and pickleball courts and add a new synthetic-turf futsal field, though full funding isn't secured yet. Town leaders hope detailed plans and strong community support, including booming youth soccer participation, will help close the budget gap and target construction as early as summer 2027. 
• Marin acquires Sky Ranch Knoll open space (marinij.com) — San Anselmo's long-term vision for preserving Bald Hill and Sky Ranch just took a major step forward, as Marin County accepted the donated Sky Ranch Knoll property to complete a key open space greenbelt. The project stems from San Anselmo's 1981 Open Space Committee work and is partly funded by a $1 million bequest to the town's Open Space Committee, ensuring protected views, trails, and added landslide protections above Ross Valley.
