Police: Woman Stabbed in Head During San Rafael Robbery

Three people have been arrested in connection to the incident, police said.

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a Tuesday stabbing and robbery in San Rafael.

At 12:58 a.m., an officer was patrolling the area of Albert Park when he heard yelling from nearby tennis courts. The officer checked the area and found a 22-year-old woman suffering from lacerations to her head, police said.

Police said the victim was vague about what happened, but she did tell the officer she had been stabbed in the head with a knife. She was transported to the hospital, treated for her injuries and later released.

The victim told police she was approached by a man and two women who demanded her property. When the victim refused, the three suspects assaulted her, and one of the suspects pulled a knife and stabbed her in the head, police said.

The suspects then took the victim’s property and fled the area.

Police have arrested Indugo Williams, 37, a transient, Angelica Funes, 22, of San Rafael, and Daisy Rodriguez, 18, of San Rafael, on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Police said the suspects are believed to have been involved in two similar incidents in San Rafael in the past month.
