Police said the young woman told officers she was being sexually exploited and trafficked by a man and a woman, later identified as Buckly and Khayami.
Officers found the suspects Saturday driving on Redwood Boulevard in Novato and police said the officers followed them to a hotel in the 8100 block of Redwood Boulevard. When the officers stopped the suspects’ vehicle, police said the officers located additional evidence that indicates the victim had been sexually exploited and trafficked as a prostitute.
Buckly and Khayami were arrested and booked at the Marin County Jail. Police said the victim was referred to services through an advocacy organization.
