San Rafael Yacht Club Water Festival

The San Rafael Yacht Club will be
holding its annual “Summer Water Festival” on Saturday, September 7, 2013 from
1 – 4 p.m.  The Yacht Club is located at
200 Yacht Club Drive, just off of East Francisco near downtown San Rafael.  The festival is free to the public and includes
multiple activities on the waters of the San Rafael canal, for both children
and adults.

The festival will provide free
sailboat rides and trial excursions on kayaks and stand-up paddleboards.  The Great Paddle Challenge and other water
activities are planned as well.  Live
music, BBQ food and drinks will be available.
Raffle prizes, donated by local restaurants and merchants, will be
offered.

The annual water festival is a
yearly event of the San Rafael Yacht Club.
The SRCY seeks to welcome the public to visit and to celebrate the local
activities and bay access provided to all of Marin County by the canal
waterway.  Members of the public are also
invited to become members of the Yacht Club.
