UPDATE: 100+ Searchers Help Find Missing Elderly Man
Marin County officials were looking in the San Geronimo area for a 70-year-old man with dementia.

Marin County search and rescue teams have located a man with dementia Friday afternoon who had been missing in the San Geronimo area since Thursday night, sheriff’s officials say.

David Jones, 70, was found alive and is being transported to a hospital, according to the sheriff’s office.
The search of the area around the Lagunitas School off Sir Francis Drake Boulevard involved as many as 110 searchers, aircraft and search dogs.

Search and rescue teams are combing San Geronimo in Marin County for a missing 70-year-old man with dementia, sheriff’s officials said.
David Jones, 70, has been missing since overnight. Search teams are looking in the area of the Lagunitas School off Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, according to the Marin County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office has called as many as 110 searchers from around the region to the area and are using aircraft and dogs in the search.
Jones is described as a white man, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and a green hat, according to the sheriff’s office.
