Volunteer needed to representing District 2 in Ross Valley

The following is a news release from the County of Marin:

The application deadline is 5 p.m. March 20 for one vacancy on the Marin County Aviation Commission representing District 2.

Applicants cannot be active pilots, aircraft owners, or connected with the aviation business. They must live in the Ross Valley area, Kentfield, Greenbrae or the downtown Larkspur area.

The appointing authority is the Marin County Board of Supervisors. The Aviation Commission advises the Supervisors on matters relating to Marin County airports, regulation of private airports, cooperation with military airports, and all other aviation matters.
