Monday, Oct. 28

Celebrity chef Guy Fieri testified in the trial of a Marin County teen accused of stealing the chef's bright-yellow Lamborghini in 2011 and then shooting at a romantic rival in Mill Valley a year later.

A Marin County Superior Court jury later in the week convicted Max Wade of the attempted murder of a romantic rival but acquitted him of trying to kill the girl he desired.

A San Rafael man arrested earlier this week on suspicion of DUI and leaving the scene of an accident has at least three prior DUI convictions according to a Marin Independent Journal report.

 

Wednesday, Oct. 30

The Cotton Ball Bandit struck again, hitting a Terra Linda Wells Fargo Bank on 600 Las Galinas Avenue on Wednesday morning.

The brazen middle-aged robber has robbed nine Marin County banks since last December – including two in San Rafael.

 

Thursday, Oct. 31

A 5-year-old boy is on the road to recovery after falling from a 15-foot garage roof in San Rafael .The boy suffered head injuries in a Tuesday afternoon rooftop plunge at 1356 Lincoln Avenue.

 

Friday, Nov. 1

The Marin County coroner's office identified the motorcyclist killed Wednesday in a collision involving a paratransit bus on U.S. Highway 101 as 65-year-old Thomas Jenkins of San Rafael.
