Hundreds of Flights Canceled, Delays Could Reach 3 Hours at SFO

If you're traveling on Thursday, you better check with your airline on your flight's status.

San Francisco International Airport is seeing numerous flight cancellations and delays Thursday due to a storm descending on the Bay Area.

Airport duty manager Nancie Parker said 212 flights have been canceled Thursday. Ninety-nine of the cancellations are departures and 113 are arrivals.

Parker said the airport will also likely see long flight delays.

She said delays could reach more than three hours starting around 8 a.m., when air traffic increases.
