Look Familiar? Police Release Suspect Sketch from Belmont Indecent Exposure
Belmont police say two women witnessed the man masturbating in front of a local coffee shop.

The following is a news release from the Belmont Police Department:
Belmont Police are releasing a sketch today, of the suspect in an indecent exposure incident that occurred last Friday in front of Peets Coffee on El Camino.
On Friday, October 10, 2014 at approximately 7:40AM, Belmont Police received a call of an indecent exposure that had just occurred in front of Peets Coffee in the 1200 block of El Camino. Two women in their 20βs were inside Peets Coffee, near the windows that look out onto El Camino. They saw a white newer model 4-door BMW sedan parked at the curb and the male driver was masturbating. One of the women ran out of the coffee shop to get the vehicle license plate and the suspect drove off, southbound on El Camino.
The suspect is described as a white male adult in his 30βs, short dark hair, clean shaven. He was dressed professionally with a button down shirt. He was driving a white, newer, 4-door BMW sedan with unknown paper plates.

This suspect and vehicle match the description in an indecent exposure that occurred the day before in Palo Alto and last Friday afternoon, Palo Alto Police released a sketch from their incident.
Belmont and Palo Alto Police Departments are working closely on possible connections between the cases. Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to contact Belmont Police at 650-595-7400 or the Palo Alto Police at 650-329-2413.
