Man Held Up in San Bruno Storage Yard, Suspect Sought

Police in San Bruno are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday night in a fenced storage yard.

According to Sgt. Dermot Downes, the victim had driven his car into the yard in the 800 block of Seventh Avenue at about 9:15 p.m. when the suspect approached him.

Police said the suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money. After obtaining the victim's money, the suspect fled south through the storage yard and out of sight.

A San Bruno police canine assisted officers in an extensive check of the area but the suspect was not located.

Police described the suspect as a Filipino man approximately 25 years old who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and about 170 pounds.
