Police: Man Confesses to Robbing Two Women Near Daly City
The man allegedly grabbed a purse and a wallet from two women.

Police have arrested a man who allegedly confessed to robbing two women within a few hours in Brisbane and Daly City last week.
At 8:39 a.m. last Thursday, the 17-year-old suspect allegedly stole a wallet out of a 40-year-old woman’s purse as she waited at a bus stop just south of 2800 Bayshore Boulevard in Brisbane, Daly City police said.

The victim reported that the suspect fled on foot with the wallet toward Geneva Avenue, according to police.
Later that morning, at 11:53 a.m., another woman reported that a man said, “Excuse me,” then grabbed her purse while she was walking on Geneva Avenue toward Bayshore Boulevard in Daly City, police said.

The second victim fell to the ground and suffered cuts to her face and hands, police said.
The victim said the suspect then walked away toward Talbert Street.
On Monday, detectives were conducting a follow-up investigation when they saw a person matching the description of the suspect, police said.
The detectives questioned the suspect, who allegedly confessed to the two robberies, police said. Officers were also able to recover some of the stolen property.
