San Bruno Home Ransacked in Burglary

Police have released the description of a possible getaway vehicle.

Police are investigating a residential burglary that happened Friday in San Bruno.

Police responded at 8:45 a.m. to a residence in the 3500 block of Highland Drive in reference to a report of a burglary. Police said investigators determined an unknown suspect or suspects entered the home through an open window in the back of the residence and ransacked the home.

Numerous items were stolen from the residence including electronics and jewelry.

Police said a four-door, dark-colored sedan, possibly a Honda or Toyota, was seen leaving the area following the burglary.

It is unknown if the vehicle is related to the burglary. Police are asking anyone with information about the burglary to cal (650) 616-7100.
