School Worker Accused Of Inappropriately Contacting Young Girl

BREAKING: This is the second such arrest announced this week on the Peninsula.

SAN BRUNO, CA — Peninsula police have announced another arrest of an area after-school care employee accused of inappropriate contact with a young girl. The 25-year-old man is accused of reaching out to a 12-year-old girl at Parkside Intermediate School in San Bruno.

Millbrae resident Anthony Pellouchoud was arrested Monday on suspicion of multiple offenses related to inappropriate behavior toward a minor, according to San Bruno Police Lt. Troy Fry.

Authorities were first notified of "suspicious activity" that happened between Pellouchoud — who is employed by the City of San Bruno for the after-school program — and the girl on Monday and immediately began an investigation, Fry said.

At 7:14 p.m. Tuesday, police contacted Pellouchoud at his home and arrested him on charges related to inappropriate contact with a child, the sending and/or exhibiting of harmful matter to a minor, and for communicating with a minor with the intent to commit specified offenses, according to the lieutenant. He was booked into San Mateo County Jail.
