Two Teen Boys Arrested in San Bruno Attempted Robbery, Assault
The juvenile suspects' names are not being released to the public, but have been identified as 15-year-old boys from San Bruno and South San Francisco, police said.

San Bruno police arrested two 15-year-old boys on Monday evening in connection with an attempted robbery and assault.
Police said the victim was walking in the 700 block of San Mateo Avenue at about 5 p.m. Monday when he was approached from behind.
The suspects demanded the victim's wallet and cellphone. One of the suspects then punched the victim in the back of the head, according to police.
Unsuccessful in their attempt to rob the victim of his property, police said the suspects fled the scene, running north on Huntington Avenue before being apprehended by police.
Officers placed the suspects under arrest after discovering evidence that linked them to the robbery.

The boys were booked into the Hillcrest Juvenile Detention Facility on charges of attempted robbery and conspiracy, according to police.
The victim did not suffer any serious injuries during the incident, police said.
