Woman Identified in Deadly San Bruno Hit-and-Run

SAN BRUNO, CA β Officials have publicly identified a 29-year-old pedestrian who was left for dead by a driver who police say fled the scene upon hitting her.
San Bruno resident Carly Flynn was hit 5:33 p.m. on Dec. 19 at the intersection of San Bruno and Cherry avenues, according to police and the San Francisco medical examiner's office. She suffered critical injuries and was taken to the hospital, where she died on Wednesday, according to San Bruno Police Det. Sgt. Scott Luciano.
Flynn was in a crosswalk as she attempted to cross San Bruno Avenue and was struck by a white mid-sized SUV, according to police.

"Investigators are currently following up on several investigative leads, including video surveillance footage from the area," Luciano said Thursday in a news release. "We are aware that several other vehicles were present in the intersection at the time the collision occurred and investigators are in the process of identifying and contacting these drivers and witnesses."
