Good Tuesday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your San Clemente Patch surf report.
Well, we're seeing more of the same size surf as yesterday, with the chance for a fun window once the tide drops later in the day. Overall, it's hanging in the small to playful range in this neck of the woods.
It's clean and glassy early on, with a fair amount of south southwesterly swell in the water and hardly any northwest energy to speak of. That's providing some crumbly workable lines, with a few fast sections.

Most spots in San Clemente are pulling knee- to stomach-high waves, with the south facing focal points pulling some chest-high sets on the right tide.
At 7 this morning the tide pushes way up to a 5.4 high which will have many spots starting off kind of swamped and slow throughout the morning. The tide then drains out to a negative 0.5 low at 1:51 this afternoon.

If you're planning on paddling, you'll want to wear at least a 3/2 fullsuit or a 4/3 and maybe the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water.
FYI: Remember, the County Health Department urges surfers and swimmers to stay out of the ocean for at least 72 hours after a rain, especially near storm drains, river mouths and harbor entrances.
