Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your San Clemente Patch surf report. Well, if you don't care about a lot of size, then go grab a session. It's basically back to small mode, but those conditions are really nice.
It's clean and glassy early on, with a combination of some minor leftover west-northwest windswell and a little southerly energy starting to show out there.
That recipe is offering some kinda crumbly sectiony lines, with a few fast corners to pick off. Most spots in San Clemente are running about knee- to waist-high, with those standout breaks pulling an occasional stomach-high set.

Taking a look at those tides ... at 5:39 this morning it drained out to a 0.8 low, which will have many spots needing water early to mid-morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 3.1 high at 11:35 later this morning and then drops once again to a 1.7 low at 4:43 this afternoon.
If you're planning on paddling, break out at least a 3/2 full or better yet a 4/3 and maybe the booties, with the water temperature hanging between 57 and 58 degrees. Good luck out there!
