Donate Used Books, CDs and DVDs

CARE Foundation has joined forces with American Book Drive to help raise funds for the students of Capistrano Unified.

ABD has made it possible to turn your used books, CDs and DVDs into funds, to strengthen education opportunities for children in our community.

Beginning May 1, we will collect used books, CDs and DVDs at participating locations:

Marco Forster Middle School - 25601 Camino Del Avion San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675

San Clemente High School - 700 Avenida Pico San Clemente, CA 92673

*Donated Items should be placed in the blue collection bins found at the above school sites. We will also offer a free home pick up every Thursday, on collections over 100 items.

This is an ongoing campaign and donated items will be resold through American Book Drives network of online marketplaces, book fairs, and stores.

What type of books and media does ABD accept? For the most part we accept all books, CDs and DVDs with the exception of encyclopedia sets and VHS.
