Street Reopens Following Fatal Crash In San Leandro
Investigators wrapped up their work at the scene mid-morning.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — A deadly accident happened Friday morning in San Leandro, on Merced Avenue.
The name of the victim and other details have not been released.
Initially, San Leandro Police asked drivers to avoid Merced, between Republic Avenue and Fairway Drive. "This road closure will cause traffic backups and detours for the next several hours," they reported.
