Golf Ball Meanders From Bird Bath: Photo Of The Day

The homeowner wonders is this can be called a chip shot from a water hazard!

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Miyo Burnett has a new installment of the saga of the golf ball.

You may recall that this summer, something left a golf ball in her bird bath, along with a tomato. The tomato was retrieved and the golf ball was later moved, overnight, as were other things in Miyo's yard.

The visitor returned on the last day of September. The golf ball was tossed into the yard —Miyo called it a chip shot from a water hazard — and a sprinkler was moved and turned upside down.

"Think I need David Attenborough to investigate this part of Planet Earth!" Miyo cracked.

Then, last Wednesday, her visitor was back. "My summer crops are all harvested and indoors, the veggie beds are mostly covered and mulched for the winter (except garlic & onions), and really nothing is left to eat for a hungry raccoon. So maybe I have another pouty animal, letting me know overnight its dissatisfaction??"
