San Leandro Fire Damages Apartment Building

The fire broke out around 10 p.m. Sunday.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — No injuries were reported Sunday night in a two-alarm fire at an apartment building in San Leandro.

The fire was reported in the six-unit building in the 1700 block of Carpentier Street just after 10 p.m.

Alameda County firefighters contained the fire to the unit where the fire started. They had the flames out within 20 minutes of arriving at the scene.

The residents of all six units were displaced by the fire. All of them went to stay with family or friends, according to the fire department.
