Traveling Sprinkler: Photo Of The Day

The sprinkler has chew marks on it, leaving the homeowners with a hint of who, or what, might have moved it.

This sprinkler is no where near where the homeowner left it.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Miyo Burnett is still dealing with a mysterious nocturnal visitor to her backyard. It has left a golf ball and a tomato in a birdbath, moved the golf ball and taken the tomato, and it has knocked over a container that holds rain water during the winter.

Now, a sprinkler connected to well water that is usually perched on top of a planter was moved two days in a row, and found "WITH chew marks on it and parts gnawed off!! Still functional, if wounded!" This happened last week during the scorching heatwave.

Miyo muses, "I guess the quest for a cool drink is universal!!"
