Sweet Breams

In the Spring of 2007, two sisters visited Kyoto, Japan and the seeds for what would become Sweet Breams were sown. Now, only a year later, Sweet Breams has become a reality. As the only taiyaki-ya on the Peninsula, we are extremely proud and excited to bring chibi taiyaki to the Bay Area. Our taiyaki-ki and chibi moulds were custom made especially for Sweet Breams in Japan, and imported to the United States.

All of our taiyaki are created fresh every day from scratch. We follow self-developed recipes and use only the finest ingredients such as Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans, Scharffen Berger chocolates and Kum Moon bean pastes (which include Azuki, a traditional Japanese red bean flavour, and our future seasonal flavours, black sesame, and lotus).

We are also a proud purveyor of Equator coffees and teas.

All of our chibi taiyaki is made to order. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we do our very best to minimize your wait time. Our chibi taiyaki are great at any temperature, but for optimal results at home, reheating in a toaster oven or microwave works great!
