Peninsula Man Accused Of Molesting Girl, 6, At Jamaica Resort
BREAKING: The man was indicted by a federal grand jury on a molestation charge for the alleged act in a hotel pool.

FOSTER CITY, CA — A Foster City man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on a charge of molesting a six-year-old child in a hotel resort pool in Jamaica, the U.S. Department of Justice said.
Douglas Peacock, 43, has been charged with one count of engaging in illicit sexual conduct in foreign places, according to U.S. Attorney Brian Stretch and Ryan Spradlin, a special agent with Homeland Security.
Peacock went to Jamaica sometime around June 19 and, while in the pool of a family-friendly resort, allegedly molested a six-year-old U.S. citizen, Stretch said.

The Foster City man was arrested on suspicion of the crime in Miami on Nov. 10, and was detained in the Southern District of Florida Wednesday morning, according to Stretch.
Peacock is being returned to San Francisco, Stretch said, and will appear before Judge Charles R. Breyer.

The suspect faces a maximum sentence of 30 years if convicted, according to Stretch.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Shiao Lee is prosecuting the case, which was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations, a division of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Stretch said.
