San Mateo County Reports 111 New Coronavirus Cases, 2 Deaths
There were 67 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in San Mateo County as of Monday, of which 15 were being treated in intensive care units.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — San Mateo County Health reported 111 additional coronavirus cases Tuesday.
The latest report brings the countywide COVID-19 case count to 4,168.
The county reported two additional coronavirus-related fatalities Tuesday, bringing its death toll at 114.

There were 67 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in San Mateo County as of Monday, of which 15 were being treated in intensive care units.
San Mateo police are reminding residents and visitors that parking enforcement will resume Wednesday. Payments will be required at all parking meters and downtown garages, and street cleaning enforcement will also resume Wednesday.

Elsewhere in the Bay Area and beyond, San Francisco Public Health Director Dr. Grant Colfax said Monday the city could see hundreds, or even thousands, of deaths related to COVID-19 by the end of the year if residents don't continue to take precautions to slow the virus' spread.
The San Francisco Giants and Oakland A's announced Monday that they have agreed to play two exhibition games next week ahead of Major League Baseball's Opening Day that has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The two teams will play at the Oakland Coliseum next Monday at 6:40 p.m., then at Oracle Park in San Francisco the next day on July 21 at 6:45 p.m.

There were 336,565 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 7,117 coronavirus-related deaths in California as of Tuesday afternoon according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
The United States had 3,407,798 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 136,252 coronavirus-related fatalities as of Tuesday afternoon.
