San Mateo Man Moving On From His Belmont Business
The San Mateo owner of one of Belmont's most popular burger and ice cream joints, Classic 101 Burgers & Shakes, has sold the business to the owner of a doughnut shop.
For some Belmont residents, it will always be - that ultra-efficient, sparkling-clean ice cream and burger oasis with a huge menu and a friendly staff. And the location on Ralston Avenue is perfect - just before Hwy. 101, and the Belmont Sports Complex.
It's the cure for what ails you - comfort food for a Saturday afternoon, or an ice cream celebration after a hard-fought soccer match or baseball game.
