Benefit Set for TeamWorks Program

The Marin Arts Council will host "Falling into the Arts," a fund-raising event to benefit TeamWorks, an organization that keeps arts accessible to young people. 

The event includes food, music and an exhibit of collaborative works by students under the direction of teachers from Marin Arts TeamWorks, a program that provides art classes and mentoring to teens.

Appetizers and wine will be served by An Affair to Remember Catering and Bogie Cafe. Live music will be performed by Lau Paiva & Brian Byrnes, Volker Strifler and Kurt Huget. 

The event is from 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 22 at Marin Arts Council, 906 Fourth St. Tickets are $20 and include food, wine and entertainment. For reservations call 499-6014. For more information visit the Marin Arts Council website at www.marinarts.
