Evacuation Orders and Warnings

An evacuation warning was lifted Saturday for the Bolinas area, from state Highway 1 south of Five Brooks, east to the Bolinas Ridge and south through the communities of Bolinas and Dog Town.

All other evacuation orders and warnings around the fire remain in effect, Marin County sheriff's Sgt. Brenton Schneider said during Monday's news briefing.

Evacuation orders remain in effect for Silverhills Road, Fox Drive and Noren Way south of Inverness Park. The communities of Drakes View, Inverness, Inverness Park and Sea Haven are under evacuation warnings.

"Once this firing operation is complete and we feel good about the line, we are having conversations of possibly repopulating the Silverhills are and also lifting some warnings," Schneider said. "But, again, we won't do that until we feel confident that there's no more threat to any of those communities."

Authorities are actively patrolling the areas under evacuation orders and warnings, Schneider added.

"We've had no issues of looting," he said.
