Internationally Acclaimed Tribute Band Arrival From Sweden Performs The Music of ABBA With a Captivating Extravaganza of Chart-Topping Hits

Arrival from Sweden is the world’s foremost ABBA tribute show and regularly sells out its summer shows at Red Rocks Amphitheater as well as around the world. This 12-piece band (including many original members of ABBA's band) will take you back to the ‘70s as they re-create the appearance of the original stars that defined pop music. Arrival From Sweden was founded in 1995 in Gothenburg, Sweden by Vicky Zetterberg. On stage she takes on the role of Anni-Frid Lyngstad (Frida) and her vocals partner, six-foot tall blonde Jenny Gustafsson taking on the role of Agnetha Faltskog. Arrival from Sweden's tongue-in-cheek retrospect of supergroup, ABBA includes the four main band members, plus six side musicians, three female back-up singers. The group transports the audience back through the years while singing and dancing all of the ABBA favorites like Fernando, SOS, Mamma Mia, and Waterloo. The band doesn’t just perform songs popularized by the musical "Mamma Mia," but re-introduces the audience to some of Abba’s less well-known songs like; "Tiger, So Long".

ABBA was Sweden's biggest music export ever, selling over 370 million records. They were the greatest pop-group of all, only compared with Elvis and The Beatles. The band's musical career began in 1971 and ended in 1982. However their music, passion and happiness will continue through their fantastic music, from one generation to the next. The statistics on their success is mind-boggling including; the hit musical and world sensation movie "Mamma Mia,"and the popular Playstation "ABBA's Singstar". Additionally plans are in motion to open "The ABBA Museum" in Sweden.
