"SRPD units responded to school and learned that there were possibly additional victims who were inappropriately touched by the subject," Fink said.
Police recognized the suspect based on the description. Officers found and arrested Willie Jones, 39, of San Rafael, at 8:15 a.m. in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue.
"Through interviews, it appears that there may be two victims, one minor and one adult," Fink said.
In an email to the San Rafael City Schools community, Superintendent Jim Hogeboom said the safety of students and staff is the district's "highest priority."
"At this time, we are working closely with the two students involved and their families," he said. "We are relieved to share that they are safe, and they've returned to their regular school activities."
