Man Pleads Guilty To Pimping In San Rafael

Jeffrey Jenkins, 37, of Sacramento, pleaded guilty to felony charges of pimping and possessing meth.

SAN RAFAEL, CA – A Sacramento man pleaded guilty Wednesday in Marin County Superior Court to felony charges of pimping and possession of methamphetamine for sale.

Jeffrey Jenkins, 37, will be sentenced Nov. 30 to nine years and four months in prison as part of the plea agreement.

Jenkins was charged with seven felony charges that also included human trafficking of a person under 18 years old, unlawful intercourse with a minor, parole violations and transporting or selling a controlled substance.

San Rafael police received information from the Santa Rosa Police Department on June 30 that there possibly was a 17-year-old female victim of human trafficking in their city.

San Rafael police identified the victim and confirmed she was posting advertisements on an Internet escort site in San Rafael. Undercover officers found her at a San Rafael motel where she said she feared her trafficker was going to hurt her, police Sgt. Scott Eberle said.

Jenkins was identified as the pimp and was found a short time later and was arrested on June 30 at the motel where the victim was staying, Eberle said.

Police found methamphetamine packaged for sale and more than $1,100 in cash among Jenkins' property, Eberle said.
