Today Is Deadline To Register To Vote In Marin County

Monday is the deadline for Marin County residents to register to vote in the Nov. 3 election.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — Monday is the deadline for Marin County residents to register to vote in the Nov. 3 election.

County residents will need to register or re-register to vote if they are not registered in the county, recently moved or changed their name.

Residents can check the state website to check their registration status. Residents who are not registered or need to change their registration can complete an online registration form.

Residents who miss the deadline to register, can conditionally register and vote provisionally at the Elections Department in Suite 121 of the Marin County Civic Center at 3501 Civic Center Drive in San Rafael.

Early voting is underway at the Elections Department. Voters can cast their ballots in the department from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays or until 8 p.m. on Election Day. The department will also be open the weekend before the election — from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 — to assist voters with registration and voting.
