Police Blotter: Sept 2 to Sept. 9

On Sept. 6, a woman reported that sometime on Aug.28 someone had broken into her 2002 dark green Jaguar X-Type while it was parked in a carport on the 200-block of Playa Del Ray. Missing from the car were a black IPad, a Blackberry cell phone, a Bluetooth with charger, an IPod and other items valued at $1,480.50.

On Sept. 6 a man said his 2005 red Pontiac Vibe had been broken into on Sept. 2. He said tools, binoculars and Ray Ban sunglasses had been stolen. He estimated the value of the goods was $310.

A man reported that between 1:20 p.m. and 1:50 p.m. on Sept. 4th someone had burglarized his car on the 400-block of Nova Albion Way and stolen a just-purchased toaster oven and a set of cookware valued at $219.98.
