San Rafael Man to be Arraigned on Reckless Driving Allegations

Arrest follows pursuit from McInnis Park to North San Pedro Road.

A man who was pursued by Marin County Sheriff's deputies Tuesday evening was expected to be arraigned Wednesday on suspicion of felony reckless driving as well as driving while intoxicated and driving without a license, both misdemeanors.

Milton Gramajo, 18, of San Rafael, was spotted by deputies, who said he was drinking beer and driving recklessly in the parking lot at McInnis Park on Smith Ranch Road at about 7 p.m. The suspect took off and entered Highway 101 southbound at Lucas Valley Road, according to Officer Chris Rardin of the California Highway Patrol.

Rardin said the suspect flattened a tire when he hit a curb at the Lucas Valley intersection but continued to drive at speeds up to 70 mph.
