San Rafael Pacifics Reschedule Open Tryouts

The team moved the first tryouts from Sonoma State in Rohnert Park, Calif. to University of San Francisco.

The San Rafael Pacifics Baseball Club has moved its first open tryout from Rohnert Park to University of San Francisco, according to the team's spokesman Theo Fightmaster.

A prior conflict moved the tryout from its original scheduled date and place on Saturday, Jan. 21, at Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, Calif. according to Fightmaster.

"In an effort to keep the tryout in Marin, the Pacifics exhausted every possible field option in the County," he said. "Given the time of the year, the number field closures, the demand for the few that are open, none were available."
