Santa Rosa Man Held on Robbery Allegations
Booked in Marin County Jail on $1 million bail.
A 47-year-0ld Santa Rosa man is being held on $1 million in Marin County Jail on suspicion of robbery, after he threatened his mother in San Rafael for not paying him more than his monthly allowance.
Dominic Alberico was arrested Saturday after he demanded more than his usual allotment from his mother. When she refused, he grabbed her and threatened to kill her, according to Margo Rohrbacher, San Rafael Police spokeswoman.
She said Alberico was initially booked on elder abuse allegations Friday, posted bail, and then was arrested on suspicion of robbery when investigators learned more about the incident.

He is due in Marin County Superior Court on Sept. 7 for arraignment.
