A Rosary and Funeral Mass are planned for Mario Ghilotti, the Marin native who died unexpectedly on Nov. 20.
The Rosary is at 6 p.m. Thursday at St. Raphael's Catholic Church at 1104 Fifth Ave., and the Mass is at St. Raphael's at 11 a.m. Friday.
Mr. Ghilotti, 87, was a founder of Ghilotti Bros. Inc., the San Rafael-based construction business that employed 500 workers at its busiest times. The company is responsible for developing much of Fourth Street in downtown San Rafael and the site work on the Marin County Civic Center, according to a family memorial.
